Here in Arizona, we have two major derby events in one night.  So wherever you are in this state, you are not too far from derby.  Please check out one of these events and thank you for supporting your roller derby.  Myself, I will be traveling to Tucson to check out their bout but for those in Phoenix, please go to the Derby Dames event below.  They do need your support.  Thanks!! (*^u^*)

PHOENIX
- If you are in Phoenix and you can't make it to see us in Tucson, please support your local roller derby by checking out the final countdown as beauty faces the beast for the last time in 2007. Arizona Derby Dames championship bout between the undefeated Brutal Beauties and the Coffin Draggers. While the Beauties have never been beaten.. ever, the Draggers have a new weapon named Forbid N. Fruit who we saw last month jam an upset over the Bombshells in the playoffs. This bout will be nasty. Castle Sports Club - 19th Ave jno Peoria - PHX - Doors @ 7/Bout @ 8 - $8/adv - $10/door I will not be able to make this one but I will have friends there. Remember to wear pink or green and black and show your support.

TUCSON - The Michi-chan Travel Team is on the road to Tucson to check out the interleague double header at Tucson Roller Derby. Orange County Roller Girls, fresh off of a victory from the Battle For The Coast tournament will take on TRD's Iron Curtain. We will also see the Ho-Bots from Duke City Roller Derby (Albuquerque) will take on the young Copper Queens who can sure use this bouting experience. Sounds like a bunch of good times and a great chance to experience the style of derby from other cities as well as take in the "old pueblo" hospitality of Tucson! We should hopefully have the Michi-chan buttons ready for this bout! Bladeworld - 1065 W Grant Road - TUS - Doors @ 6PM/Bouts @ 630PM
